The first step is an initial free consultation by telephone. This gives you the chance to outline the difficulties you’d like to address and explore the best way forward. To book your consultation, simply click the “Book Now” link below and select your preferred date and time. You’ll then receive a confirmation email.

This call is an opportunity for you to ask questions, share any concerns, and get a feel for how I work — all without committing to ongoing therapy. We’ll talk about what you want to achieve and work out the best options to suit your individual needs. It’s friendly, informal, and completely confidential.

What Happens Next

Following your consultation, counselling and psychotherapy sessions are usually held weekly for 50 minutes. This regularity gives you time to reflect on what’s been discussed and, if helpful, carry out activities between sessions to support your progress.

The number of sessions depends on your unique situation and the issues you’d like to address — something we’ll decide together. You can book sessions individually, or take advantage of block bookings via the “Book Now” link below.

Flexible Session Options

There’s no fixed number of sessions. For some, fortnightly or monthly appointments work best, and this can be agreed during your initial consultation. Many clients choose to start weekly and, as they feel stronger, gradually move to fortnightly and then monthly sessions. This gentle transition can make ending therapy feel more comfortable and supported.
